com_lmo => LMO + Joomla! not working... - 22/05/2006 22:12 Hi,
I've installed lmo component: http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,318/Itemid,35/
- com_lmo_1.0_b2 on my joomla! 1.0.8. What i've done:
Downloaded and installed standalone lmo ver. 4.0 at my public_html, then added it to joomla as a wrapper, installed modules (but they're unpublished for few months, till new season) and it was working, but few days ago I've realised that component is already available to download, so i did. (ver. com_lmo_1.0_b2).
I accessed my backend and installed that com, joomla said that all is correct, so i made new position in menu with that component. When i've looked in frontend, there weren't any leagues and that's pretty ok, because my standalone ver. was installed not in jooomla directory. So, i thought: I'll make new league in backend. Ooops ! Nothing were there...
http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/3898/nothing0pn.jpg
It's weird... I have save mode: off
When I've mixed standalone lmo and that from administrator/components/ in backend there was an window with login, but when i've typing my nick and pass, it was redirecting me to home of backend...

Anyone knows what (if) i'm doing wrong ? Any help ? Please... ?

Hi Raffael,

the Joomla! component and the LMO-Standalone are working independent from each other.

The component is still not complete (missing prediction game, addons, upload and download of leagues). On successwiki.com i use both. All was done by the standalone LMO (leagues, updates and so on) and the leaguefiles were copied to the component league directory by a cronjob. Little more time for the first setup, but works fine (for me)

Best regards,

Jörn

I know. My standalone LMO is working pretty fine (i added it by wrapper), but i wanted to use lmo_com. And here come the problems After installation i have emptiness in my backend (just nothing, look at screen in post above). So i can't add league and component is just unusable...
When i copied lmo standalone to component directory login panel has appeared in my backend, but when i typed my nickname and password it was redirecting me to joomla backend homepage...

The component is still not complete (missing prediction game, addons, upload and download of leagues).
I'm aware of that, but as i wrote, that's not my problem, my problem is pretty different

Hmm, so he have copied only leaguefiles ? Nothing else ?

Best regards,

Jörn

Hi Raffael,

doesn't matter what you want. You can't use the component that way

Have a look at Yann's latest news at the forge http://developer.joomla.org/sf/sfmain/do/viewProject/projects.lmo#news

... and only the leaguefiles, nothing else

Best regards,

Joern

Re:com_lmo => LMO + Joomla! not working... - 23/05/2006 16:03 doesn't matter what you want. You can't use the component that way

The problem is that i can't use this component in any way... As i said: after installation component isn't working in backend (joomla administration panel).

LMO component beta is finaly here - LMO - Joomla!
After a few month of work the LMO component is finaly in a state that we can distribute to the public.

All features should work except Tipp, Download, and Upload. To upload and download I recommend FTP or JoomlaXplorer.

The final version should have cleaner authentication code and automatic language detection based on Joomla's settings.

Have fun.

Okay, i've already read that news. Didn't help me. I know that Tipp, download and upload are not working, and that's not a problem to me, it doesn't work at all...

One more time: i have joomla 1.0.8, i install lmo component and it's clean (nothing, emptiness) in backend. What i'm doing wrong ? Am i ?

Best Regards,

Raffael

Re:com_lmo => LMO + Joomla! not working... - 09/07/2006 01:03 I cannot give any answer, but I'm writing to echo the same problem.

I could install the component successfully. But, once I try to see the component from the backend, there is nothing. I can see LMO without any data from the front. Did anybody give me any suggestions to fix this problem?
Thanks for your help!!
