LMO in Joomla not writting... - 11/05/2006 22:58 Hi!

I have instaled LMO standalone and now I would like to includi it into my joomla site...

The first problem was instalation where script did not create cfg.txt and init-parameters.php...

I create those files manualy and everything works fine in standalone version...

When I install a component for joomla I do not see leagues... and If I want to create a league I get some errors (in step 3/4) and no league is created...

Hope you understanded my problem...

Thanks,
rossi

Hi rossi,

the integration of the LMO-Standalone script and the LMO component are two different things.

If you want to create a new league for the LMO component, you have to log into the Joomla! backend and to select 'components' 'LigaManager', to be able to create a new league file manually.

If you want to create a new league in the standalone version of the LMO you have to log into the LMO backend (e.G. www.yourjoomla.com/lmo/lmoadmin.php). Because there are now LMO-Addons that are made compatible with the LMO component for Joomla!, the Limporter-Addon (for example) is only usable in the standalone version of the LMO.

A link to your LMO installation is very much appreciated (next time)

Best regards,

Joern

Re:LMO in Joomla not writting... - 13/05/2006 22:08 Hi rossi,

first you should check your installation. A path like 'M:/www/joomla/lmo/config/mini/cfg.txt' looks like a path in a normal wind**s enviroment.

Relative path e.g.
Code:

 /www/joomla/lmo/config/mini/

Absolute path e.g.
Code:

 http://www.yourdomain.de/lmo/config/mini/

Re:LMO in Joomla not writting... - 13/05/2006 23:01 Hi,

yes it's windows server (my own one) with apache installed...

while waiting for your answer I have instaled lmo and joomla also on linux server...

error is the same (look attachment)... I don't know what is cousing that error.

Hope that you can help me figure this out! It looks like there are some writing problems (fwrite) and also I have problems when instaling lmo (instalation did not create cfg.txt, init-parameters.php and lmo-auth.php. I have to create it myself.
